Adventures of my low level flights
- Welcome
I love to fly and by fall next year (2011) my goal in obtaining a private pilots license will be accomplished. In the meantime I have to settle for what I call "Flying Low".
"Flying Low" is the term I use in keeping my feet on the ground but yet feeling the atmosphere around you. How is this accomplished? Ride a motorcycle and see the country!
The following pages and photographs are my recent adventures via motorcycle riding here in the State of West Virginia. I have been on many trips already but decided recently to publish my whereabouts from time to time. I am doing this to also let my friends know that I am still alive!
Hope you enjoy...
Yes, it's me!
Photo was taken on WV Route 150, the Highland Scenic Highway
My Flying Low vehicles are:
A 2002 Harley-Davidson Sportster Custom 1200 for short trips (sometimes they end up being a long trip). This vehicle handles the mountain terrain very well.
My long trip vehicle is a 2003 Yamaha V-Star 1100... and what a ride!
Elevation is 4,545
